UMRS 1349 at Sorbonne Paris Nord University

Associate professor at Sorbonne Paris Nord University and IMI Master’s degree (Paris Cité University et CRI), PhD, Principal Investigator. Her data-driven research spans from biomedical to translational research on at-risk populations. Her goals are to better understand the mechanisms involved in the diseases affecting these vulnerable populations, ranging from basic research to the identification of potential biomarkers. One aspect of her work focuses on the cellular, molecular, immunological, and endocrine mechanisms involved in pathologies with an inflammatory component, in particular chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). A second aspect seeks to evaluate the ability of biomarkers and algorithms derived from artificial intelligence and machine learning to predict disease diagnosis, outcomes, and response to treatments, thereby optimizing patient care. Biomarker identification is carried out using “omics” approaches, as well as specific cellular and molecular biology techniques focused on certain biomarkers of interest.
