Estelle Bonte is currently pursuing an engineering degree in Health Biology – Biotechnologies and Chemistry at CY Tech (CY Cergy Paris Université), specializing in the cellular and molecular biology of the microenvironment, after completing a preparatory cycle in the same field. Her training has provided a strong foundation in cellular and molecular biology, with a progressive focus on the role of the microenvironment in disease. She also completed an internship in microbiology, contributing to quality control analyses of cosmetic products.
She is currently undertaking her final-year internship at UMR INSERM 1349 (SIMHEL), under the supervision of Christine Le Roy. Her research focuses on the heterogeneity and plasticity of B cells in chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL), particularly CD5High and CD5Low subpopulations, their interconversion potential, regulation by microenvironmental signals, and associated functional and metabolic profiles.
