Lucas has always been fascinated by biology, developing a particular interest in cancer research. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, with a specialization in Biochemistry / Cellular and Molecular Biology – Cellular Microenvironment, obtained in 2024 from CY Cergy Paris Université. He is currently completing the final year of a Master’s degree in Biology and Health, specializing in Cellular and Molecular Biology of the Microenvironment, at the same university, with graduation expected in 2026.

During the first year of his Master’s degree (M1), Lucas completed a research internship within the Inserm U1349 SIMHEL research unit under the supervision of Dr Claudine Irles. This project focused on studying the expression and localization of the IRAP protein during the development of B lymphocytes affected by chronic lymphocytic leukemia (CLL). He then continued his academic training with a second-year Master’s (M2) research internship carried out in the same laboratory and under the same scientific supervision. His current work investigates the role of the IRAP protein in B-cell receptor (BCR) signaling in chronic lymphocytic leukemia.
